I was in little tokyo this weekend, and saw these boots at a store. The sole was actually made from tire rubber. Pretty cool boots if you ask me. Price: $230.

Today is the day we celebrate the birth of James Yancey. As Pharrell will always say, “The beat king of all time.” Dilla had a way of making music that not only made you wanna play that song again and again, but also touched something inside of you that made you feel goosebumps every time you heard it. He is probably the only person that can take a sample and make it sound better than the original. To say that Dilla was the greatest producer that ever lives is just an understatement. Its a shame that a lot of people will never know who he is, but i can assure that you have listened to a Dilla beat in your life and not even know it.
I remember when i first listened to Wont do of The Shining album (thanks Steve), I must of played that song at lease 20 times that day. made we want to search for every sample that Dilla used. Every time I would discover a sample, it made me think that to have the ability to listen to a song from decades before his age, and make them sound the way he did was utterly amazing. such a beautiful gift given from god. I cant thank him enough for absolutely changing my life and the way i listened to music today. I’m sure a lot more people feel the same way.
Rest In Peace my good friend…..you will always have that special place in my heart. See you when i see you. TURN IT UP!!!

This Tee will release on Feb 13. at stonesthrow.com and Stussy Locations. RIP Dilla!
Since I’ve never in my life seen a sunrise at the beach, I figure I hit up PCH with Oliver to finally see one. Obviously I had to wake up very early to drive all the way up to Point Mugu to accomplish this. I hit up my right hand man Enrique to mob with me in his G35, and he gladly agreed. Woke up at 4:00am. Met up with Enrique around 4:45 and rolled out. Now, I would just like to say that the pictures don’t give the views any justice…It was simply amazing…enjoy.
